The set contains three removable trays:
The Main Instrument Tray includes a cup curette, banana knife, a large obturator for dilating portals and three probes.

The Canine Cannula Tray contains a unique cannula system that allows precise one-step placement of the first cannula by using a cannulated obturator that inserts directly over the initial guide needle. Beveled changing rods allow easy portal dilation and switching to two larger cannula sizes. This tray also includes a fenestrated outflow cannula with stopcock and switching stick designed for the stifle.

A specialized Hand Instrument Tray secures a series I grasper and slender punch in an upright position for easy accessibility. The tray also has space for additional hand instruments. Arthrex offers a lifetime guarantee on materials and workmanship on every series I instrument. The compact, lightweight, expandable, anodized aluminum autoclave case holds the instruments securely in slotted, laser labeled silicone pads for proper protection and easy identification during use and repacking.

Camera

The Camera includes video capture software that will record directly onto a personal computer or laptop. USB Resolutions are NTSC 720 x 480 @ 30 fps and has a 32mm C-mount Coupler. The camera head has two programmable buttons that are selectable for image capture, white balance, gain, or multiple peripheral triggering. This camera is compatible with Sterrad, Steris and Cidex.

Light Source

The light source is a 300W Xenon Light and accepts 4 styles of Light Cables: Stortz, Olympus, Wolf, ACMI

The Hyperflex Light Cable sold with this tower is 5mm x 7.5 Ft and is autoclavable.

Scopes

Rigid Scopes are available in 1.9mm, 2.7mm and 4.0mm diameters. All scopes have a 30° angle optic and a one or two value quick lock sheaths.

Sensitive In-Line Pressure Sensing
The unique in-line pressure-sensing system provides instantaneous adjustments to flow levels based on intraarticular pressure changes, providing ideal joint distention throughout the procedure. Pressure and flow levels can be adjusted independently on the pump or from the sterile field with the autoclavable remote for optimum control of fluid dynamics. Clear joint distention is maintained even with aggressive shaving, aspiration and multiple arthroscopy portals.

Set-Up and User Simplicity
Easy main tubing set-up, sensor plug-in and multiple irrigation bag spiking before the first patient is in the room facilitates stress-free preparation for the entire surgical day. The unique ReDeuce™ tubing extension piece is passed off from the surgical field and connected to the main pump tubing for each subsequent arthroscopic procedure. Touchproof connectors, backflow restrictors and sterile caps provide full assurance of tubing and fluid sterility during tubing connection.

Tubing and Fluid Cost Containment
Tubing cost and unused fluid waste are significantly reduced because only the extension tubing piece is disposed of at the end of procedure. The main pump tubing and unused sterile fluid bags, which are in a closed sterile loop, remain maintained on the pump for the surgical day.

Versatility
The option of traditional single use blades and burrs or an evolutionary limited reusable system that provides convenient access to a full range of blades and burrs within the sterile field.

The multi-function power console allows simultaneous operation of two handpieces. The utilization of dual, active shaver handpiecesexpedites the use of a blade and burr without time-consuming blade changes. The drill and sagittal saw handpieces can be used for ACL graft preparation while the shaver is used intraarticularly reducing costly operating room time.

Orthopaedic Procedure Electrosurgical System (OPES)

The Arthrex Orthopaedic Procedure Electrosurgical System (OPES) is the first of its kind completely digital platform designed to provide the surgeon and O.R. staff with greater flexibility and performance for arthroscopic as well as open surgical procedures.

Digital Technology and Patient Safety
The OPES generator was designed with patient safety as its highest priority. The completely digital generator provides effi cient tissue cutting, coagulation and ablation at significantly reduced power settings. The Digital Error Detection (DED) and Neutral Electrode Monitoring (NEM) ensure the highest level of patient safety.

Monopolar Ablation and Coagulation Probes
The OPES monopolar all-in-one disposable ablation probes provide greater ablation speed and efficiency while lowering the per procedure cost. For convenience, all probes are hand or foot controlled.

3-in-1 Electrosurgical System
With “3-in-1” system flexibility, the OPES Electrosurgical Generator is also capable of controlling a host of different instruments, including disposable monopolar arthroscopic electrodes, reusable and disposable monopolar open procedure pencils and tips, and reusable bipolar forceps.
