Solid Cross Locking Bolts |
Our new solid cross locking bolts can be used with the Interlocking Nail System in replace of cortical bone screws. The solid cross locking bolt is made of a hardened stainless steel with self-tapping threads below the head of the bolt. The threads are positive profile and engage in only the near cortex. Therefore the minor diameter of the threaded section remains the same as the diameter of the solid section that intersects with the Interlocking Nail The solid intersection provides a stronger construct when compared to the cortical bone screw.
Advantageous
- Solid core intersects with Interlocking Nail
- Self-tapping threads eliminate tapping pre-drilled hole
- Provided in one length and then cut to length, which eliminates large screw inventory.
