The Swivelock is made of PEEK (polyetheretherketone) is an inert, nonabsorbable thermoplastic material. The vented anchor body promotes bone barrow flow and allows for bony ingrowth. The canine pilot study shows evidence of bony ingrowth at eight weeks. The FiberTape suture offers a high strength, more resistant to tissue cut through then round sutures in addition to having a large footprint.
